SARSFIELDS HURLING CLUB

Welcome to the Web site of one of the oldest hurling clubs in Cork. Steeped in tradition and located in the barony of Imokilly, the club boasts such famous hurling names as Micka Brennan, Alan Lotty, Teddy McCarthy, Paddy Barry and Liam Dowling. These wore the colours of Cork with pride and distinction.

The club has a well organised underage infrastructure, with street leagues for age groups of six years and up. Teams compete in the East Cork championships and have been particularly successful in the recent Feile U-14 competitions.

Our sister club, the Glanmire football club also caters for the community and has their web page at http://welcome.to/glanmiregaa/ and gives details on who to contact, video clips of Tadhgy Murphy beating the Kingdom in 1983 and the players involved.

Any details on this webpage or any inquiries, contact Riobard Lotty.
